MCP CONNECTOR

Put your meetings to work in Copilot and Claude

Decisions is where your teams, committees and boards manage their agendas, minutes, decisions and action items in Microsoft 365 and Teams. The Decisions MCP Connector brings that structured meeting context into the AI tools you already use, so they can analyze across meetings, help prepare what’s next and add to your shared meeting record.

WHY IT MATTERS

Your AI tools are only as good as the meeting context they can reach

Without access to your meeting context, AI tools can only work from what they already know or what you give them. Decisions keeps that context structured across teams and over time, so your AI tools can work from what your team actually discussed, decided and committed to.

Give AI your full meeting context

Your teams already keep their agendas, minutes, decisions and action items in Decisions. The connector opens that formal meeting record to your AI tools, so their answers start from your meetings.

Turn AI work into shared work

Let your AI tools add agenda items, log decisions and submit cases directly in Decisions. The work lands in your team’s shared record, where everyone can find it and build on it.

Build on what your meetings create

Use decisions, discussions and action items across teams and over time to spot recurring themes, see how past decisions shape today’s priorities and plan what comes next from what really happened.

Each person signs in with Microsoft 365 and sees only what they can already open. Admins choose who can use it.

  • Never used to train AI

Decisions never trains AI models on your content, and your AI provider handles each request under your organization’s agreement.

  • Read on request, nothing synced in advance

Your AI tool reads only what someone asks for, when they ask.

  • Your tenant, your security settings

Meeting content is stored in your own Microsoft 365 tenant, and Decisions employees have no access to your tenant.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions about the Decisions MCP Connector

The Decisions MCP Connector uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI tools to business software, to link Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude to Decisions, the meeting management system built on Microsoft 365 and Teams. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Amazon Quick are coming soon. Your AI tool can then work across your meeting record, from planning agendas around past meetings to finding open decisions and spotting trends.
At launch, the Decisions MCP Connector works with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Amazon Quick are coming soon. In Copilot, pick the Decisions agent or type @Decisions; with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, Copilot can also answer from Decisions without selecting it first. Each person connects with their own Microsoft 365 work account, so they only see what they could already open.
The Decisions AI Assistant works inside Decisions in Microsoft Teams. The Decisions MCP Connector brings your structured meeting record into the AI tool you already use, such as Copilot or Claude, and lets it add to that record.
With the Decisions MCP Connector, your AI tool can build and publish agendas, add and move agenda items, attach files from OneDrive or SharePoint, log and edit decisions, write minutes and submit cases. What it adds follows your team’s templates. Agenda changes wait for your OK, the connector can’t delete anything, and everything works under your Microsoft 365 permissions.
Only the meeting record text a person asks for and can already open, such as an agenda or decision, is sent to their chosen AI provider. Decisions stores your meeting content in your organization’s own Microsoft 365, and Decisions employees have no access to your tenant. The connector doesn’t join or record meetings, never returns transcripts and never uses your content to train AI models.
New Decisions organizations have MCP access on from the start. In existing organizations, an admin turns it on in the Decisions Admin portal under Decisions AI, then Connectors, and a Microsoft 365 admin grants consent. For Microsoft 365 Copilot, an admin also makes the Decisions agent available to everyone or to selected groups. Then each person adds Decisions in their AI tool and signs in.
Yes. The connector comes with Decisions and follows your existing plan, so your AI tool can use the features your plan includes. New teams start free with every feature unlocked and the connector on from the start, no credit card required. Your AI tool’s plan may also need to support connectors.
