Decisions Agendas Now Available in Microsoft Teams Private Channels

Now you can use Decisions agenda builder within Microsoft Teams private channels.

The crew at Decisions has been working tirelessly with Microsoft to bring our latest Teams integration aimed at improving meetings in private channels. We are excited to announce that users can now set meaningful agendas within their private channels! Agenda-setting is a tentpole of the Decisions suite, ensuring that meeting participants feel prepared and informed prior to meetings as well as more satisfied with the meeting’s flow and outcome.

This functionality has been a top request from many customers who want to use Decisions for their private, smaller group meetings, without the extra step of having to create an entirely new team and we are happy to deliver! Users can rest easy that all content associated with a specific private channel – such as meeting agendas and minutes – can be viewed solely by approved members, while still housing the information in the appropriate locale.

More About Private Channels

Each Team can have up to 30 private channels, with a maximum of 250 members in each channel. Microsoft Teams users can create a private channel within a larger team that just includes relevant attendees. The capability is especially useful so only appropriate individuals are invited to meetings and sensitive topics are uniquely shared with those necessary team members. Our agenda-setting tool allows members of the private channel to stay on task, just like any other Decisions meeting (especially helpful when the “private meeting” reaches 250 guests!)

Private Channel Example: Project Team A includes multiple workstreams and external suppliers. The project leader can set-up private channels so only the essential workstream members are invited, and separately create private channels for discussions and meetings with each supplier, as well as a channel for company internal discussions. All materials will be housed within the overarching Project Team A, while ensuring the entire project team is not overwhelmed with notifications and meeting invitations unrelated to their work.
