Kristin is a serial tech entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in busin ess development, sales and marketing, building teams,

organizations and boards of directors. She is currently the managing director of Rendra AS, which she founded and co-owned. The company was sold to the JDM Technology Group in January 2018. Kristin was also the founder, co-owner and managing director of i-Sea AS, a company making the digital nautical map Embark (“Google Maps” for boaters). That company was sold to C-map/Goldman Sachs September 2017.

“Kristin brings knowledge and experience to the Decisions Board of Directors,” says Board Chairperson and CEO at Creuna, Torstein Harildstad. “She is analytical, strategic and insightful, with a robust network of resources. We look forward to her contributions to the board.”

Trusting Kristin’s perspective as a successful tech founder, Decisions founder and CEO Jørgen Solberg spoke to her about the idea of a meeting management solution in the early days of the company, as she also has completed a master’s thesis on the subject, The Value Creating Board. When Kristin sold Rendra, the pair reconnected. Her research shows that few people read meeting minutes and prepare in advance, so a lot of time is wasted in nonproductive meetings.

Says Kristin, “As a tech entrepreneur, the power of technology to improve existing work processes is always in the front of my mind. The link between a powerful solution like Decisions to smarter board and leadership meetings was immediately clear.

Kristin further shares that she is confident in the future of Decisions. “The solution solves a commonly known enterprise problem, it is intuitive to use and builds on a well-known platform – Office 365 – that many companies and organizations are already using.”

Welcome to the team, Kristin!
